Nestled just a short stroll from downtown Stratford, our family's recent stay at Hatfield House was truly memorable. We spent three nights in the delightful Queen Elizabeth I room, complete with a lovely private balcony. The comfortable Adirondack chairs provided a perfect spot for my wife and me to unwind while our son enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. Becky and Stu, the warm hosts, made us feel right at home without hovering over us. Their B&B is well-equipped for families, and the well-stocked drinks fridge and snacks outside our room were appreciated by all. Breakfast was unpretentious but satisfying, featuring options like raspberry crepes and eggs benedict - a hit with my son! One of the highlights of our trip was the short, leisurely walk to the Avon Theater, where we enjoyed an engaging performance. It was refreshing to leave the car parked and explore the nearby shops and restaurants on foot. Our stay was marked by laughter and conversation with the Dalls, which truly fostered a sense of family-friendly camaraderie. Hatfield House is a solid choice for families looking to combine comfort with a local experience in Stratford.
